They have alot of theft there. Also the owner has water problems that many times keep the guests from flushing toilets and taking showers. Mostly on the high dollar condos. There is not a restaurant on-site, however there is one next door at Fuego del Sol Hotel and one up the road. Family is planning to spend the week of Christmas in Arenal/Fortuna area. Wondering if we need advance reservations for activities (like ww rafting, ATV , excursions..)?

i am travelling to costa rica for the first time at the end of november and, after landing in san jose, will travel by Nature Air, the domestic airlines, to Tambor. My return trip is booked with Sansa Air, the other popular domestic carrier. I have never in my life experienced a small plane and I am a little nervous. Any advice or encouragement welcome!

How do I get from San Jose to Casa Corcovado Lodge?
