I stayed at the Copa seveal times over the last 3 years. I alwways end up going back there cause the staff is so cool, the food is good and the rooms are clean. I would definately recommend this place to others. It is right at the beach and close to all the bars. The staff is always up for some fun and can set you up with whatever you need, surflessons, tours or a cold beer..

This is a family resort, however, if you are going without children, make sure you are in the Adults Only section of the resort which is called Royal Services where you have a concierge, pool, restaurant, 3 separate quarters just for adults. Also, free internet service in lounge which serves breakfast, drinks, snacks all day long....

hotel was great. food was faultless, very clean, excellent entertainment. i went with my mom and sister and we want to go bak next year. fun club were great (susan). never got bored there . i recommend this hotel for anybody . There is buffet but u need to book mexican and italian restaraunts a day in advance everyone there were very helpful and friendly

Anyone stay here? What is your experience with this hotel. Is it reccomended as a spot for wedding / reception for 50...?

We are looking at living in Costa Rica for 3 months Jan-March. My husband will commute from the U.S. each week. (we are from Canada) Any ideas on the best area of San Jose - or if it would be possible to commute to the beach from san Jose - How do'able is that trip ... or would you be required to take another flight? i'm looking to go to to the central pacific area in late october but i'm a little concerned about the rainy season. does anyone know what it's like late october and would it be worth it to go then?
