I read somewhere that the Don Carlos hotel is located in an old neighborhood. Does anyone know if the architecture of this neighborhood is nice enough to explore and take pictures?

We are looking for a hotel near the San Jose airport and found the Hotel Barcelo San José Palacio. Has anyone stayed there? Is it too noisy for being close to the airport?

Has anyone stayed or had their honeymoon at the Peace Lodge? I’ve read that it is very romantic and great for newlyweds? How are the rooms like?

I am looking for information on the Casa Conde Hotel & Suites. Has anyone stayed here? Do they have a restaurant? Do they speak English?

What is the Adventure Inn? I do not see anything adventurous about it, am I missing something? Can adventure tours be taken from this hotel? We have 2 days in San Jose at the end of our trip in April. Is there another place we should consider?

A friend told me that the Best Western Irazu caught on fire a couple of months ago. Are they finished remodeling yet? I cannot stand construction noise when I am on my vacation.

I am confused, what is the difference between the Costa Rica Marriott and the Marriott Courtyard. I understand that they are different hotels but are both of them in San Jose and how far from San Jose?
