From looking at the pictures the water in front of the hotel looks very calm, can somebody confirm this? I might be traveling with small children and I need to know how safe the ocean is for swimming? Do they have a children's pool at Bahia Pez Vela?

As far as I understand none of the hotels in Manuel Antonio are right on the beach, so how far is Karahe from the water? Can you get there walking… I heard is one of the closest hotels to the beach and the National Park is this true? I'm looking for an inexpensive hotel and this one seems like a good option.

I'm planning to stay at Villas Rio Mar for a few nights, and I was wondering how far is it from the Marino Ballena Park and if you can see the Baru River from your room at the hotel? We will have a car so transportation is not a big deal? Do you have to pay an entrance fee at the Park?

The Luna Llena Hotel looks like a nice, inexpensive option to stay in Tamarindo, but I was wondering how far is from the beach and bars? I don't want to walk more than 15 or 20 minutes to get to either place. Are there are good bars around the hotel?

Arenal Observatory Lodge looks like it will fit my bill for my next stay near Arenal, however I don’t know how far the hotel is from Tabacon, La Fortuna and the Waterfall, would somebody be so kind to give me a hint? Is the road to this place in good condition?
