I hear that the hotel Tamarindo Vista Villas has a good location and also that it is a great hotel for surfers... I am looking for a nice hotel not too luxurious or expensive, is this a good option? Can I rent a surfboard in the hotel?

My husband and I are looking for our vacation, and we have decided to visit Costa Rica, we have never been there, but have heard such as great comments about this small country. A group of 4 ladies from NY coming to Costa Rica in November. Have any of you stayed at the Paradisus Playa Conchal? Any opinions on the resort? Generally, the aerial ride, the rain forest and the white water rafting trip, how long from guanacaste area? also, are the roads as horrible as i have read about? Any info will be much appreciated..

I will be visiting Costa Rica next month and would like to stay at Tropico Latino Lodge. Does any one know if there are restaurant options in Mal Pais town, I would like to go and have dinner out of the hotel since I am planning to be there 5 nights. Your advice is greatly appreciated.
