I read that the rooms at this hotel where not clean or nice and that the restaurant was not good at all? Looking at the photo gallery it does not look bad at all, I will appreciate any comments of someone who has actually been there.

I stayed at the hotel in one of their beach front rooms which are very nice, my boyfriend and I were there for 3 nights and we do not have any complains about the rooms. Cleaning service was good and the rooms do not smell bad at all, this a very nice hotel owned by Ticos and everyone there is nice and friendly. The restaurant is beach front, it is not a fancy one but it is good enough to have a great meal and enjoy the ocean breeze.
