We stayed at this place that an all inclusive hotel, it has stated when we got there that it was their high season the last week of August. The paperwork we received said that their high season was after August 31st. They did not and would not honor the witten word and the reception staff and supervision was not accomadating at all. Needless to say we decied not to stay more then a few days. That was the best decison we could have made. We really enjoyed the rest of our vacation by touring other areas of Costa Rica and for less money the the "all inclusive cost" this hotel charged. Shame on Occidental Allegro papagayo hotel. We will not stay there again.

Note* VacationCity did not book this reservation but if it had been then we could have forced the Occidental Allegro to stand by the rate offered due to contracts we have with them.
