THIS PROPERTY WAS NOT RENTED BY VACATIONCITY.

Costa Rica is a beautiful diverse country. My family recently returned from Dominical. We enjoyed all of the outdoor activities & wildlife, however our accomodations were not what we expected or was advertised. We rented a home from Ted Tambke, and arrived to a beautiful "shell", that was filthy. The house smelled of urine. The bathrooms had not been cleaned in a long while, the tubs were grimy & the counters had not been wiped down. The mirrors were spotty. The air-conditioner did not work, neither did the T.V. There was no back up generator, & the power does often go out. The booster pump (water) worked about 50% of the time as well. The home was inundated with ants. The security safe did not work. We were frustrated to say the least. We tried to rectify the matter, but Ted initially gave us hollow promises, that never proved to work out. Now he refuses to take my calls or answer e-mail. I still haven't received my deposit, or a much deserved rebate. NEVER RENT A HOME BY A WIRE TRANSFER OF FUNDS!! Use a credit card! Anyway...I could go on, but really just wanted to get the word out. Costa Rica is BEAUTIFUL!
