Hello! To travel between areas in Costa Rica there are several options but the most common and safe are:
1. Car Rental, drive yourself and discover the wonders and the excitement of “getting lost” while you know as much as you can of Costa Rica.
2. Private transportation, you deserve it! Why drive on your vacations if you can have a local driver to take you from one area to another one. You just sit back and enjoy the view.
3. Shuttle transportation, if you don’t want to pay a lot on transfers and want the facility to be pick up at your hotel and be dropped off at the hotel of your future area this is your option. But have in mind that probably it would take longer because is a shared service.
4. Air transportation, why spend maybe 4 to 5 hours traveling if you can take a small plain and just flight for 30 minutes to get to your next paradisiacal spot. (Not available for all the areas)

We suggest not traveling by public bus because:
There is no way to reserve or buy the tickets in advance.
Not all the areas are connected by the public transportation service.
