Hi! Costa Rica has amazing places to retire and enjoy of the surfing at the same time. I suggest Playa Hermosa at Jaco or the area of Playa Grande and Tamarindo which has become very develop and you can find almost all the facilities you need. But if you are looking for more remotes and less busy areas Dominical or Santa Teresa Beach will be great for you.
