My wife-to-be is a real adrenaline junkie like myself and I want to surprise her by setting up the most exciting day of tours. Location doesn’t matter, the more challenging the activity the better it is for us. There are a lot of options; does anyone have an idea which ones are the best?
To start off your vacation on the right track you can do white water rafting on the most spectacular river in Costa Rica, the Pacuare River, located close to San Jose. Then you can head up north, to Arenal, to do some kayaking, rappelling, Canyoning… and let’s not forget the Canopy tour and the Venado Caves. Then move to Monteverde for the ultimate hiking experience at the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve where you can hike for up to 8 hours non stop if you want.
