Hotel Environment

I read the other day that Villas Rio Mar is nice family hotel, is this true, are there plenty of activities to do in the area?

This is a great hotel for families. We got there by car from San Jose thru San Isidro and it took us 3h aprox. Do not take the road trough Manuel Antonio it is in very bad conditions. The gardens, swimming pools and rooms are very nice at the hotel. During our stay there our family took a snorkeling tour to Cano Island and we got to see whales on the boat ride, it was great!
