It is a long way to get there! We drove around 2 1/2 hours from San Jose to Puntarenas and then took the "ferry" from Paquera to Tambor (1 hour and 20 min aprox. boat ride plus the time we waited in line at the dock) plus 40 min more by car to the hotel. After a long journey we finally arrived at Tambor where we find out that there are domestic flights available that take just 30 min and a short transfer ride from the hotel to Tambor airport (5 miles) My next time there, I will take the flight :)
