we stayed here 3 nights in january and were overall very pleased with the accomodations. the bungalow was screened in and let the cool breezes in at night (no need for an air conditioner). wonderful views of the ocean, nice private patio with table. flowers and candle nice touch. the infiniti pool is really special. limited dinner menu and breakfast was ok. very steep driveway to the top of the hill - definately need a 4 wheel drive car to reach this hotel. mal pais itself is fun with great beaches. the roads are all dirt and there is dust everywhere. costa rica is the best!
