Why when you complained the 15th nov

"We were in other hotel in Puerto Viejo and had a reserve for 3 days in the Cariblue, already paid to the travel agent. As it was raining a lot in the area, we decided to cancel the reserve 5! days before the check in...." you wrote the words "ALREADY PAID TO THE TRAVEL AGENT"
and THIS IS NOT reported in your post here?
Did WE MISS SOMETHING?
Did you reserve with or without a travel agent
