Beach/ocean Distance

Im in the middle of planning a honeymoon and I would love to go to Tabacon. The one thing I dont seem to know is how far the resort is from the ocean and if there is a beach near by? If anyone can tell me that would be greatly appreciated!

tabocon is 4 hours from the ocean in a car , tabacon it located 2 to 3 hours north west of san jose, on a map there is a big lake

Tabacon is no where near a beach. It is by Arenal, a volcano. the closest beach is like two hours away.
