Me and my family have been going there for the last 3 years during Christmas, we have never seen monkeys at the property to be honest. On the other hand I have to say that this hotel is wonderful, last year we stayed in their new Bungalows with a/c which was great idea because it gets really dry during summer. The hotel does have beautiful gardens and from the pool you have an amazing ocean view. Tropical yes and an amazing place to vacation.
