Swimming Beach

Hello, do you know if Punta Islita beach is good for swimmers? I will be traveling with my husband and two kids and we are asking because we love to swim in the ocean. How far is the beach from the hotel?

My wife and I just came back from Costa Rica, and we are planning to visit again that beautiful country next year. We stayed four nights at Punta Islita Ocean Resort Spa & Villas where we had such a great romantic get a way. The hotel is very nice, luxurious, and the beach is a sandy calm swimming beach. A friend has told me there were lots of rocks at the beach, but I did not see many as he described.
