Volcanoes And Rain Forest Distance

Does any one know how far the closest volcano from Martinos Resort in Alajuela is? I will be staying there for two nights at the end of this month and want to visit a least one volcano and the rain forest since I have heard great things about Costa Rica?s volcanoes and rain forest. Is it possible to take a tours to the volcano?

Hi Angie, I was at Martino Resort last month for three nights before we were going to the beach, the closest volcano is Poas, which it was amazing to see that biggest crater, you got to go, the only matter is that tour operators do not do pick ups at the Martino, so you just have to take a cab to go to Hampton Inn Hotel close to the airport and they do pick you up from there
