DO NOT USE ECONOMY RENT A CAR!
We used Expedia.com to book our car reservations when we arrived to Costa Rica. Upon arrival the price for the car went up & up & up & up!!! We were originally told that the car would be $20.00 per day but we were charged $65.00 per day by Economy. The guy at the counter was not friendly at all and I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!
As far as I can tell it was Expedia's fault... if you make a reservation thru a travel agency they should honor their word about the price... That's why I always prepay my reservations, no problems like this one. If Economy was trying to charge you more Expendia should've stepped in and say no to the car rental because they already had an agreement with you... next time I suggest using a Travel Agency that is located in Costa Rica...Not the U.S.
