National Parks Close To Punta Leona

My husband and I will be in Punta Leona in November and we want to visit some of the National Parks of Costa Rica. I need some recommendations for the Parks within traveling distance from the hotel.

I traveled to Jaco and Manuel Antonio a couple of months ago and I visited 2 National Parks, the closest one to Punta Leona is Carara National Park, beautiful place with LOTS of birds, about 15 minutes from the hotel. Manuel Antonio National Park is about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Punta Leona, going south... I saw many monkeys and raccoons but it gets crowded some times… entrance fee was right around $7 per person… that’s money well spent!
