The lodge doesn't have AC because they use generators to produce electricity and the AC units draw a lot of power... Do you need AC? not really because they have a nice little pool to cool off and more than likely you'll be out of your room during the day. At night the temperature goes down quite a bit and all you need if to turn on the ceiling fans they have.

Hi there! Me and husband just returned from Costa Rica ( a small; but lovely country), we spent three nights at Casa Corcovado which is really a jungle lodge, Casa Corcovado’s rooms do not have air-conditioning, but the rooms are open air, very nice, you just have to open the windows, feel and taste the smell of the jungle, it is a very nice hotel. We had a great time at that lodge.
