The 5 star resort is 2 hours away from Tamarindo Beach takes to long because you need to drive 35 minutes to get to the International highway from the resort and pass a few towns where roads are not in good condition. I suggest you to rent a car so you can drive also to towns like Coco beach, Ocotal, Hermosa and Panama and to Liberia Town because there are not local towns nearby.
