Does anyone know what is the best time to stay at Lapa Rios and see the macaws; is September a good places for a family vacations?

If you have older children can be a wonderful place for your family vacations, Lapa Rios is the best option if you love the nature, culture and biodiversity, I stayed there during the last January and I saw a lot of macaws but I really don’t know if there is an specific period.
