I was there last month, and I had to pay for a transfer from the airport to the hotel. The transfer cost me $20.00 each way from Liberia Airport.

Is Liberia a better place to visit than the city of san jose? Are their any night activities like clubs or casinos?

The idea to flight to Liberia is not to stay in this are, is because is located at just 45 to 1 hour distance form the North pacific Beach, but the town it self id not the develop. If you are looking for casinos and nightlife activity I will suggest landing to San Jose international Airport.
