Does anyone know if this hotel related to the family that appears in The Sound of Music?

The only thing I know is that when we stayed at the Trapp Family Lodge we met the owners and they are Tico's (Costa Rican), so if the sound of music family were latin decent then maybe. Monteverde, Costa Rica was one of our favorite stops on our vacation.
