Puerto Jimenez is a great spot for nature lovers due that it has a great variety of wildlife, exotic birds and monkeys. The rainforest is amazing and we had luck during our stay because we saw some scarlet macaws flying around. My friends enjoyed a fishing tour arranged at the hotel and they told me that that it was done somewhere called Golfo Dulce and they saw some dolphins besides the tuna fish, rooster fish and snappers were some of the species they found.
