Our last vacations where in Flamingo Beach and we really like this place, the sand is clear and nice, the sunsets that we saw on afternoons were great, besides Flamingo is a small quite and calm downtown and it is more private than Tamarindo.

Just got back from the Flamingo Beach Resort. I would not recommend this hotel at this time. The pool area is currently under construction so we listened to power washers and tile saws all day. No swim up bar and only one eating area that served the same food every day. There was very little to do at the hotel besides play pool when it rained (which was several hours every day). Very disappointed! The "town" has no tourist shopping within walking distance.
