Hi! I am just coming back from Costa Rica, where I had a great time with my husband, we spent three nights at Cabo Matapalo and the hotel did not have air condition, a travel advisor at Vacation City helped me to build my trip and did have the same question you have, her response was that because of the structure of the rooms at that area none hotels has air conditions, which I could see is true.
