I really want to visit an area as Cabo Matapalo, is it a good area for a family vacations?

Hi!me and my boyfriend visit Costa Rica every summer and the last summer we spent three nights at Cabo Matapalo which is a very nice area, but I will say it is not for a family vacations, since it is very tire to get the area and children can fall exhausted.
