How long will be drive from Alajuela to the Poas Volcano and La Paz Waterfall? some friends recommend to me visit this place.

Yes, La Paz is a worderful place to visit and is just at 1 hour from Alajuela, the Poas Volcano could be like at 1 hour 15 minutes, I suggest you pay for the entrance in the Paz waterfall gardens and take the complete tour with the trails, the 7 waterfalls, the hummingbird gardens and the butterfly farm.
