The Cristal Ballena hotel is about 20 to 30 minutes south of Dominical which is a small surf town so the hotel is outside of the area where most of the people are. The Cristal Ballena is set high on a hill above the ocean with great views and beautiful gardens but not in the Jungle. The view to the jungle is behind the hotel opposite of the beach. I really like the hotel, it has a very large pool and would not be crowded even if the hotel is full.
