I drove from San Jose to Manuel Antonio and it took me around 4h but it was worth it. Manuel Antonio National Park is the main attaction in Quepos, there are lots of nature places and adventure tours. I rented a car and I droped it off in Quepos landstrip, later on I took a flight from Quepos to Puerto Jimenez. This is the best way to go because it takes around 5h to drive there. After that you can take a private transfer or taxi to Cabo Matapalo.
