Yes it is true, children are not allowed. I went to Makanda for my 10th anniversary, some friends recommend us this hotel because is it special for couples and honeymooners, no kids just adults....mainly couples. This is a romantic place were the privacy is the main goal, they bring you breakfast to your room every morning and service is excellent. What I enjoyed most was my beautiful villa and the sunset from my room was amazing.
