Costa Rica Marriott / Marriott Courtyard

I am confused, what is the difference between the Costa Rica Marriott and the Marriott Courtyard. I understand that they are different hotels but are both of them in San Jose and how far from San Jose?

My company is currently organizing a convention in Costa Rica, and the first time I went I stayed at the Courtyard Marriot which is located in Escazu about 10 from Downtown San Jose, then the second time, the company planned the convention at the Costa Rica Marriot which is located in San Antonio de Belen closer to the International Airport, the Costa Rica Marriott is a 5 stars property while Courtyard Marriott is a 3 stars hotel. I recommend the Costa Rica Marriott it is much more beautiful.
