Playa del Coco is probably the best known beach in the Guanacaste Costa Rica region. It lies near the Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia This extremely popular beach is the biggest coastal village in the area. The town has modern conveniences such as stores, bars, restaurants and hotels. The beach itself is a stretch of gray brown sand set inside a horseshoe-shaped bay.
