The resort offers a very original and fascinating tour, which consists of dolphin and whale watching expeditions which includes a snorkeling dive along a beautiful coral reef and Ballena Island. These tours are carried out twice a day, and from December to April and June to September you will have the delightful experience of viewing the migrating Humpback Whales which, depending upon the season, might be coming from Antarctica or Alaska all the way to the Dominical and Uvita beaches in Costa Rica. The Whales and Dolphins Ecolodge has 4 suites and 16 standard rooms, all equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, biodegradable toiletries, and the best of views for their guests to enjoy from whichever room they choose. One room also includes facilities for the handicapped. The guest rooms are all located in two buildings, constructed on the side of the ridge, below the restaurant. Each room has terracotta tiled floors, air conditioning and ceiling fans, box spring mattress, queen-sized beds, a full closet with doors, a full length dressing mirror, flexible night lamps on two night tables and sliding glass doors, with sliding curtains, that lead out to a private balcony with those stunning ocean views we mentioned. The spacious baths are equipped with floor-to-ceiling tile, hot water showers and hair dryers.

Guests will enjoy a world class restaurant where the fine gourmet cooking will entice them to not leave without having tried several of the Mediterranean dishes, the fine beef cuts and the home made pasta. The restaurant has overwhelming panorama of the surrounding coastline that will stay with you forever. The Rain Forest bar is undoubtedly another attraction that will provide a cool and relaxing shade to better appreciate a tropical cocktail or refreshment while enjoying the unique view. Quite close to the bar you will find the split level infinity pool from which you still have a great opportunity to gaze at the vistas of the blue Pacific Ocean, which you can also see when sitting at the tables surrounding the pool. Do not forget to visit the resort’s gift shop where you will find a variety of Costa Rican and international products, as well as delightful ornaments made by the Boruca Indians.
