Day Activities
At Tiskita Jungle Lodge you can walk along private trails in a 300 acre (121 hectares) primary rain forest that contains huge trees draped with massive woody vines, diverse bird and wildlife species. Plenty can be seen in the secondary forest and grounds around the main lodge too: tropical flowers, birds, monkeys, iguanas, three-toed sloth, and multi-colored butterflies.
You can walk on the pristine beach that stretches for mile or you can see it on horseback. You can also practice surfing here or at the world renowned beach of Pavones. Professional surfers from around the world come to the southwest of Costa Rica only to catch a few waves and then leave searching for other renowned spots. Tiskita Jungle Lodge's staff is also very proud of their homemade and handcrafted wooden ping pong table. Make sure to play a few sets on their creation.
