Sueño Azul is located 1.5 hours from San Jose. If you are driving from Juan Santamaria International Airport or San Jose, follow the road to Limon. The Guapiles Highway heads north out of San Jose on Calle 3 before turning east and passing close to Barva Volcano and through the rainforests of Braulio Carrillo National Park, en route to Limon. The first main intersection after leaving the mountain turn left towards Rio Frio and Puerto Viejo of Sarapiquí. Drive 14 km until you reach the town of Horquetas and from there you can follow the signs to the Sueño Azul Resort.
