Location and Driving Directions
Driving from San Jose is easy; you will enjoy the 131 mile (210 km) ride from the moment that you get on Route 32. Route 32 is also known as Braulio Carrillo Road. This road passes through Braulio Carrillo National Park, where you will see breathtaking landscapes and lush vegetation. When you arrive at Limon, turn south onto the palm fringed coastal scenic road passing Cahuita and then through the village of Puerto Viejo.
