Location and Driving Directions
Sano Banano Beach Hotel is located in Montezuma close to the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. Driving from the San Jose international airport is not difficult, all the roads have signs. Upon leaving the airport drive towards San Ramon then continue on to Esparza, you will reach an intersection that will lead towards Guanacaste or Puntarenas. Take the turn towards Puntarenas, drive to the end of the road and here you will have to take a ferry. The ferry will leave you in Paquera, from here drive through Tambor to Cóbano, where you will find another intersection where you make a left and drive on for about 4 miles. If you arrive in Liberia instead then drive to Nicoya through Jicaral, then Playa Naranjo and on to Paquera where you will turn right and head to Cobano. Once you arrive there take a left towards Montezuma and drive on for about 4 miles. The total drive should take you about 5 hours.
