You can also visit Manuel Antonio National Park, the most popular park in Costa Rica for its beautiful beaches and rain forest, just 2 hours from the resort. In addition, you may want to visit Carara Biological Reserve, only 15 minutes from the resort. At Carara you can walk along the trails of this transitional forest, a cross between dry forest and humid jungle. Some of the activities you will be able to enjoy while staying at Punta Leona Resort are hiking, horseback riding, fishing, and surfing.
