This restaurant is named in reference to the year Christopher Columbus arrived in the Americas. The 50ft thatched palm ceiling is a most distinguishable landmark and pays tribute to the architectural style of the Chorotegas, the area’s once predominant native culture. The menu at 1492 Restaurant includes original dishes that fuse elements of Costa Rican, Italian and French cuisine. Locally grown herbs, spices, and vegetables are combined to imbue signature dishes with an explosion of flavor, color, and variety. Snacks are served between meals. A select wine list offers accompaniment to your dining experience. There is a seating capacity for 60 individuals. Reservations are required. Private events can be held at the restaurant.

At Borrancho you can order numerous snacks and seafood fare. You can order wines, cocktails or tropical fruit beverages to accompany your meal. During green season the restaurant only serves lunch, but during high season guests can also order dinner. There is seating for 52 individuals inside the restaurant and an additional 32 seat scattered among the green areas outside. Reservations are required for dinner. Special arrangements can be made to host romantic meals on the shore. Private events can also be held on restaurant premises.

Hoyo en Uno Golf Club

Hoyo en Uno Golf Club, also known as Hole in One, is popular due to its light fare that features sandwiches and salads to whet the appetite or curb the hunger. Cocktails are not served at this establishment. There is a seating capacity for 30 people. Private, special events can be hosted on the premises.

Harry's Bar is a lively little place to stop by for a quick bite to eat. The menu here features a lovely spread of snacks. With room enough to accommodate 14 individuals, you can be sure this place won't get too crowded. Enjoy international and national alcholic beverages. Private events can be held at the bar.

Borrancho Pool Bar

This is a great place to cool off and enjoy a fruity beverage. There is seating around the bar for 14 people, but 150 people can be accommodated in the green areas around the bar. The pool is closed after 7:00pm.
