Location and Driving Directions
Playa Nicuesa is located in the Southern side of Costa Rica, in the lovely region of Peninsula de Osa. Inside this peninsula you can find the gorgeous Piedras Blancas Park: an untouched natural sanctuary full of color and breath taking flora and fauna. It was formerly called Esquinas National Park but its name changed in 1991 when it was declared as an extension of the famous Corcovado National Park. To get to Playa Nicuesa Rainforest lodge you can only travel by boat either from the Golfito or Puerto Jimenez ports. The 30 minute boat trip from either port towards Playa Nicuesa Rainforest lodge boarders the coasts along the park; during this trip, you can enjoy an amazing view of 30 000 acres of Costa Rica primary rainforest.
