On the first day of your journey, you will be driven past scenic sugarcane and coffee plantations. Breakfast will be along the way. Then, once in the water, you will experience the exhilaration of riding the waves on this wild and scenic river, which courses through a tropical wilderness of dense vegetation and steep gorges.

When you arrive at the overnight destination, you will find a jungle oasis nestled in the middle of an enchanting rainforest. We return to the "base camp" of the Pacuare Jungle Lodge in time to shower, rest or play before this evening’s Happy Hour, followed by dinner prepared by one of the expert guide/chefs.

Day 3
After a hot breakfast, you launch the rafts again for the last part of the trip. Rafting becomes even more exciting today as you use the skills and experience gained on this trip. Lunch will be served along the river, and when you reach the take out, you can change into dry clothes in a private restroom before the return drive to San José. Arrival in San José is usually between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m., in time for dinner on your own.
