Moana Lodge is located in the village of Mal Pais. This quaint village is on the Nicoya Peninsula which is on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Upon leaving the International Airport or San Jose get on the Pan American HWY, drive towards Puntarenas, following road signs. Upon reaching Puntarenas you take the ferry. You will enjoy a picturesque journey that lasts about 1.5 hours. The ferry will drop you in Paquera. From here you drive on to Cobano and then to Mal Pais, at the Mal Pais intersection, take a right towards Mal Pais.
