La Quinta Country Inn lies about an hour and a half from the airport. If you decide to take the western route you must drive north from the Juan Santamaria Airport through Heredia. Travel on the pass between the Barva and Poas Volcanoes; take the turnoff for Poasito and the Poas Volcano. There is a bridge about 8km north of Vara Blanca that crosses the La Paz River; you will drive through the town of Cariblanco on towards San Miguel. You will come across a fork the north leads you to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui. Head toward the town of La VIrgen, 5km after this village there is a sign to your left. La Quinta Country Inn lies 1.2km off the main road. or Go east from San Jose, head for Limon and pass through the Braulio Carrillo National Park. On the first crossroad you find (about 50km from San Jose) take a left on to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui. Drive for about 32km, at the town’s entrance there is another crossroad that goes to the town of La Virgen, you will find a sign on your right 5km before reaching this town. La Quinta Country Inn is located 1.2km off the main road.
