La Posada
The perfect mix between sea, breeze and good taste. International fusion cuisine in a Natural environment.
Located in the Club House and surrounded by the impressive nature and golf course, this dining option is for those with a more casual taste.
The Beach Club is located in front of one of the most important surf spots in Costa Rica, Little Hawaii in Playa Avellanas, one of the best beaches on the Costa Rican Pacific and a favorite at La Posada. The 3-story building is built in Spanish colonial architectural style, fitting for the casual atmosphere of the La Posada Pacific beaches.
On the main level is located the reception room, sales office, roomy corridor with ocean views, kids club and the spacious open-air Avellanas Restaurant, which has a bar area facing the pool and the sea. This restaurant is open for our guest from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. At the front, facing the beach is an infinity edge pool which appears to melt into the sea, as well as a variety of areas including a children’s section, spa, gardens and sun decks.
Opposite the pool is the Ranchito Grill Las Palmas open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, a full bar that serves food and drinks to the pool and beach areas as well as a small space for beach game rentals and towel delivery.
In addition on the upper level the club has the Mandarina Lounge which is a great option for relaxation but also a good equipped A/C area for groups meetings. The Mandarina is open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
In the lower level the Avellanas Beach Club has Del Mar Wellness Area with two spa treatment rooms plus shower, lockers, changing rooms and restrooms all of them can be easily accessible from the pool, beach or the main floor.
