Upon leaving the San Jose airport take the Pan American HWY and head for Cartago. When you reach Cartago follow the road signs to Paraiso in an eastward direction. Then drive to Juan Vinas, again following the signs. Here you will see the signs for Turrialba, drive east 10 miles and enjoy the picturesque scenery of lush mountains and valleys. Guayabo Lodge is located in Santa Cruz, 30 minutes outside of Turrialba, about 330yds from the cemetery. The drive from San Jose takes about 2 hours.
