Aguila de Osa Inn is located on Drake Bay upon a cliff, from where you can take in the postcard scenery. The only way to get to Aguila de Osa Inn is by boat. You will have to drive from San Jose to Palmar Sur on the Pan American HWY. First you will get to Palmar Norte and then you will need to take a right turn heading towards Palmar Sur. In Palmar Sur a 15 minute van drive will take you to the town of Sierpe where you will board a boat that will take you along the Sierpe River to the point where the river mouths into the Pacific Ocean. Once in the ocean the boat will travel along the coast for 5 miles (8 km) until you reach Aguila de Osa’s private dock.
